OFFICIAL NOTICE TO PARENTS, GUARDIANS AND STUDENTS
Under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as Amended (FERPA), the following directory information may be made public unless the parent/guardian or student (if 18 years of age or older) desires to withhold any or all of this information: The parent(s)’s name, student's name; home address; e-mail address; home telephone number; dates of attendance; classification; degrees, honors and awards received; and participation in officially recognized activities and sports. In addition, unless specifically notified otherwise, student photographs may be published on the school website and in commercial publications (i.e. Times-Picayune, etc.) related to official school activities.
Parents/Guardians of students, or students 18 years of age or older, wishing to withhold any or all of the directory information items may do so by notifying the school as follows:

Once information has been published, it cannot be removed from that publication. The school directory will be published once a year, and after it is compiled no information can be removed before the next printing.

If a parent/guardian restricts his/her student’s directory information and leaves Crescent City Christian School, the restriction continues until reversed in writing by the parent/guardian.
Crescent City Christian School will exercise discretion in the release of all directory information.
