CCCS Junior High students who participated in the Louisiana Association of Student Councils’ Summer Leadership Training Workshop were Sarah J., Morgan R., Daniella L., Daniel S., and Chris S.

These students spent four days in June at Northwestern Louisiana University in Natchitoches, Louisiana with other students from around the state, learning various leadership skills such as meeting and communication skills, group dynamics and officer training.  They were also given ideas about faculty/student relations and sat in on team-building sessions covering project ideas in the areas of fund raising, community service, and school spirit.
